Recipe: Betty's Spinach Salad

1 bunch spinach

1 c. sliced water chestnuts

1 c. bean sprouts

½ lb. bacon

2 eggs, hard boiled

¼ lb. mushrooms

4 green onions

Dressing:

1 onion

¼ c. vinegar

1/3 c. catsup

1 c. oil

¾ c. sugar

1 T. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. salt

Combine spinach, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, bacon (cooked and crumbled), 2 eggs (hard boiled and diced), mushrooms (sliced) and 4 green onions (sliced).  Toss lightly.  Heat dressing mixture; onion, vinegar, catsup, oil, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and salt until warm.  You can serve dressing on side.
